Like many companies, you will be charmed at first with their commercial team, showing professionalism, pro activity and sharing a quote that is literally half the price other movers will share …. But there is no magic in this world …. The quote will, at the end of your painful and tumultuous journey, end up being the same than worldwide known companies (extra costs coming up out of nowhere little by little) with a service and a quality in doing the job that is far far away from what these other companies can offer …. Needless to say that once they are paid, no one answer your phone call/emails … the job is done to them, both Singapore and Dubai team acted like they simply do not care about their client, NO communication between both entities which ended again in extra fees required, lack of knowledge/respect of the initial agreement/contract signed where we had constantly to remind them what the contract said, what we already paid, what fees seemed just pure stealing for us …then …surprisingly, these fees no longer needed to be paid …but what a hassle that could have been avoided (Plus some threats from our parts to literally sue them if they did not stick to contract ..) so if my husband and I did not constantly check the contract, highlighted was what supposed to be covered already, what was paid and was clearly not a justified fee, it appears we would have been financing Allied cash flow … like probably many other clients ….
Now having said that, all the nightmare dealing with commercial team, now, let’s talk about the total lack of training of the team on the ground …. I have moved many times in my life, between countries, cities etc never have I experienced so many damages on my belongings …. Careless people who packed a plastic cup in tone of plastic bubble wrap …but glass wine in a thin paper sheet … I mean how ridiculous is that ….. more than 16 items broken (mugs, plates, glasses, frames, even metallic bookshelves ….) NOT one excuse from the team, not a word …again payment has been made ….so job is done right?
As someone commented below “STAY AWAY” you are going to be seduced by the commercial team during the very first meeting … but this is an illusion and hides the nightmares you will be facing later ….
I have moved with Allied Pickfords before 6 times and it was always a good experience but moving from Singapore was a nightmare. They were completely unprofessional. The packing was supposed to take 2 days and they couldn't finish it in time. Movers where untrained and didn't have prober tools (sharing two pen knifes with 4 people and a screw driver). After the total packing nightmare they didn't ship the #1 box with all the essentials so all furniture was wasted. Insurance didn't pay up because only parts missing. They shipped the box which said "Do not pack". Worst experience in my life. Will never use them again.

Broke a brand new IKEA cupboard worth SGD 1600
Broke a microwave worth SGD 800
Broke a bed worth SGD 700 amongst others
The Director in Singapore would not take responsibility for the botched up move.

Please remove your review fроm this page. You have reviewed the Sofia, Bulgaria office of Allied, you haven't been our customer. You are causing us a big trouble. All of our reviews at Google are 5 star, and we haven't had unhappy customer since our establishment in 1991. We understand your anger, but you are punishing innocent people.
If I could give zero stars I would. We moved from Singapore to Toronto last July. We shipped our belongings in early June 2022 and they arrived Sept 6, 2022.
Allied has questionable business practices. Once they load your belongings onto the truck they will tell you that you owe more money.We said to remove items that would put us over as we were planning on furnishing our new house with new furniture anyway.
Then we were told, no, it’s ok. They managed to shift our shipment and stack it tighter so no extra charge. Three days after the shipment left, they sent us a bill for overage which was 100% not the agreement.
We have moved overseas 4x and have never had this experience before.
They broke items (a telescope and antique blanket box) and are refusing to cover them even with our insurance coverage that was bought through them.
If you’re getting quotes, avoid theirs and move on.
As per earlier reviews, if zero stars were possible, I would give. Singapore to Thailand in Nov 23, a litany of errors and additional charges, refusal to respond to concerns. Avoid. Never ever hire Allied.
Packers and other end all good but from Singapore team. zero communication, dates given are completely changed, every question or issue basically results in more payment. Would never recommend or use again. Read what everyone has written and do not in you worst dreams choose them. You will regret it
Avoid this company for international moves! Our furniture from every room was extensively damaged. It has taken 2.5 months of continuous chasing to get a response on our claim.
Despite having their expensive and fully comprehensive insurance cover in place and fully documented shipping inventories with valuations, they are trying to pay only 10% of replacement value on items that they have deemed irreparable (or too expensive to repair) after inspection by their furniture restorer. Their argument is that they are compensating me for “loss of appearance” of the items and that I should keep using the damaged sideboards/tv/cot/framed pictures/lampshades/rugs etc.
Appalling service and I now have a lengthy and time-consuming battle to ensure that they fulfil the terms of the contract.
Good sales team and packers. Everything else appalling, extremely unresponsive move managers, communication and customer service non existent. The lack of communication, care, interest made the move stressful. At destination our shipment was missing a large crated painting, Allied have made zero effort to locate it and seem uninterested.Difficult to escalate the matter and you can't insure for their incompetence.
